By the time you find the missing scientist, things are already creepy enough, but then Hell literally breaks loose, and you find yourself as one of the few people left alive in a base rapidly being overrun with grotesque monsters, reanimated and murderous former humans, and otherwordly, demonic imagery. It has a darker tone than the rest of the series, with aspects of Survival Horror. Despite its name, it's not a sequel to the original Doom games, as much as a reboot.

I hope someone can mod this, I would love a more Doom Classic creation.Doom 3 (stylized as Doom³) is a 2004 First-Person Shooter in the Doom franchise, developed by id Software and released for both the PC and Xbox. Pinkys aren't dinosaurs they look sorta deformed human. Speaking of which, I don't really care for the art of it either, It looks more like a dinosaur kinda like what they did to Oblivion creatures from Elderscrolls. Perhaps if they used another monster for the same tactics and kept the original concept of the Pinky from Doom Classic.
I just don't like it, it doesn't feel Doomy to me. Regardless, I hate this almost 100% immune to damage from the front and can charge. If you're using the rocket launcher, sometimes a surprise Pinky in your face forces you to use a different weapon or kill yourself with your own rockets. Not this "shoot the fleshy part in a specific place" like Hunters from the Halo series. The whole point with Pinkys was a wide creature that got in your face and could take a lot of shots and created a bloody mess when you killed them especially with rocket launchers. Now I find myself really upset and rage quitting not only from getting my ass kicked from that Pinky that charged through all the other monsters and surprised hit me, but also Pinkys not being Pinkys. I was there when Doom and Doom 2 came out and loved playing them as a kid and especially playing campaign with friends on Brutal Doom.
